TYE 2015 – Finance

It was great to hear some words of wisdom from the Mayor of Addison last week – about his own entrepreneurial journeys, the importance of persistence, learning from failure, the need for effective communication and at a broader level, the significance of entrepreneurship in overall economic growth of the nation.

Thanks again to Mayor Todd Meier for taking the time to come and talk to the group.

Well, we saw how to create a simple financial model for your businesses – revenues, cost structures, and margins. Next week we will look at organizational needs  for a business – entity formation, contracts, corporate governance and other legal matters.

And as we discussed, be prepared for the workshops coming up after next week
